SPACE EATER!!!
All of you that know me for the past 4 years or so how important this interview was for me to do. that being said, i had the Honor of having brother Karlo of Space Eater on the Metal Meltdown. We talked about both
the "Merciful Angel", and "Aftershock" cd's. We also talked about the loss of Boško Radišić, who tragically passed away in a fire, along with his younger sister, at his home in Serbia(June 3, 2009). I articulated my appreciation to Karlo for keeping the band together. Bucca left the band shortly thereafter to pursue other musical interest. Karlo, and the rest of the band released "Aftershock" August 10th, 2010 dedicated to the memory of Boško. Boško's vocal tracks taken from demo recordings done in 2009. Luka Matković is the new vocalist, and his vocals are featured on the last 2 tracks of the cd. Luka aka Tower and drummer Marko "Tihi" Danilović are formerly from Fatality, and original member on guitar, Nemanja Pavlović. along with Karlo on bass, sound more Aggressive, Thrashier, and are already working on more material for the next Cd. Having Karlo join me today was a huge honor for me, as i know that we will always be metal brothers, and only the best for Space Eater is yet to come. You must add both and all future Cds from this band to your collection. R.I.P. Boško Radišić and Long Live Space Eater!!!!!

SKULLY of SEASONS OF THE WOLF

Skully of Florida base power metal band, Seasons of the Wolf joined me on the metal meltdown for a great conversation. We learned a lot about SOTW 22 year career, and about the discography, and future of this unique and talented band. Since the inception of SOTW, Skully and the rest of the band had done everything for themselves. Self Produced, written, engineered, mixed, and released. Many bands of today can learn lots for Skully. Bands today really need to do stuff for themselves to get out there basically. Bands that help themselves, get help. Check out the music of Seasons Of the Wolf!

CHARLIE TAYLOR of INFERNAL DEATH (DEATH TRIBUTE)

Charlie of Infernal Death joins me to pay tribute to the music of Death on the anniversary of the passing of Charles Michael Schuldiner (13th May 1967 Long Island, NY) R.I.P 13th December 2001.
Death disbanded due to Chuck Schuldiner dying of brain stem cancer on December 13th, 2001. The cause of death was that he took a specific drug to help combat the cancer and was weakened, dying of pneumonia. Death have had some dramatic changes in their sound. One of the first death metal bands, originally founded in 1983 as Mantas, changed their name to Death in late 1984.
In the beginning, before even releasing a demo and under the name Mantas, the band wanted to play Venom/Celtic Frost influenced metal, but upon hearing bands like Possessed, Mantas wanted to play and expand death metal. Thus, they decided to change their name to Death to sum up what their music and lyrics are about. So Death started off as death metal with gore related lyrics (Scream Bloody Gore). Up to the "Human" album, we start seeing the transformation of Death, with lyrics not relating to gore but more to the human mind. Up to "Individual Thought Patterns," the band has brought in progressive elements, thus on the last of the studio albums (The Sound Of Perseverance) has a sound no where near death metal but more progressive metal. In 1999 Chuck formed and appeared on his last studio release, Control Denied - "The Fragile Art of Existence", where Chuck sings on the demos, Tim Aymar is the vocalist on this Progressive Power Metal release. Making it 11 years since we have had music of Chuck Schuldiner, on this 9th anniversary of his loss. R.I.P Evil Chuck. Long Live his Memory.

This is what its all about for me. To have a band such as Machinage's Fabio Delibo on the show. Having been approached by Fabio about a year ago, to review his bands "It Makes Us hate" cd, then to have it remastered, to hear great thrashing tunage in the likes of what metal legends are made of. Machinage had gone through some line up changes since then, and will be remaking this cd for a 3rd time. That being said, I can not wait to hear new offerings from Fabio and Machinage. This was Fabio's first interview, and we had a great conversation, and i look forward to doing it again at some point when the new cd is out perhaps. I would love to see Machinage performing these killer tunes live. Check them out!!

Special thanks to Charles of Nuclear Blast, for arranging this face to face interview with metal legends Forbidden. This was done in New Jersey's Starland Ballroom, where in the bands touring bus i was able to have a great conversation with Craig Locicero, and even Russ Anderson got in on this. This was my 2nd time in 2 weeks seeing Forbidden, and each time was a Killer show. Meeting the bands was amazing , as these guys are really great guys. This was truly appreciated by me, of course, to have this opportunity. The bands is just in the beginning stages of the tour, so if they come near you ,you must see them perform tunes from Forbidden Evil to the lastest Omega Wave!

We had an evening with the one and only Ronny Munroe on the Metal Meltdown. This marks the 3rd time Ronny has appeared on Metal Messiah. I was able to have an interview with Ronny, as he co-hosted the entire 3 hour show with me.
This show is packed with information concerning aspects of the career of one of the best vocalist in metal. From Paladin to Far Cry to Metal Church to Stomping Grounds(a new project with Ronny on vocals). At the end of the show Ronny as my co-host selected what bands we would hear of this evening. This was a fun show we did together, and good music to go along with it
